The gymnasium at the NLRC is a full, state of the art gymnasium, and the equipment is provided by the NLRC. The Lab Charter School conducts physical education classes in the gym for their elementary school students, and Bodine High School uses the gym for practice and games for badminton, girls' volleyball, girls' basketball, and boys' basketball. The NLRC hosts soccer teams from the city-wide Department of Recreation Soccer Program for practice and games. The Philadelphia Suns from Chinatown run their basketball and volleyball league games at the NLRC. Neighborhood resident and longtime NLRC volunteer Willie Moultrie runs co-ed basketball leagues for children. Additionally, the gymnasium is used for participants in the After School program and Summer Camp program.
